ESL FACEIT Group has officially announced a multi-year media rights partnership with Vietnamese cable television channel VTVcab, which will see the channel cover the production, delivery and localisation of notable ESL FACEIT Group competitions for Vietnamese viewers.

VTVcab is part of Vietnam Television (VTV), one of the biggest television corporations in the country, recently securing state-owned broadcaster secured local media rights for the entirety of the 2022 World Cup.

“As our world-class esports tournaments continue to expand, it is our priority to make them accessible to as many fans as possible — and to execute those broadcasts in a manner that makes them available to all” Nick Vanzetti, SVP Asia-Pacific Japan of ESL FACEIT Group said in an official release.

“We couldn’t be more thrilled for this partnership with VTVcab as it brings us closer to achieving our goal and allows us to share some of the best esports moments with our fans from this region.”
