TENSTAR Esports Ceases Operations, Payments Still Due

British esports organization TENSTAR has officially closed their doors, ceasing operations, which was announced in a company release that was issued on Friday.

According to the release: TENSTAR have had … extensive conversations with various Investment partners … The majority of those discussions require definitive Return on Investment projections. Which are difficult to produce and harder to prove in our two core titles, Rainbow Six: Siege and VALORANT.”

“Winning a [VALORANT Regional League] will barely generate enough revenue to pay one player, for one month. Completely unsustainable, without considerable third-party investment.”

TENSTAR, along with it’s sister company Adamo Gaming, have been accused by some folks of not paying staff members, with a number starting employment tribunals in order to get paid, according to a UK Esports News report.
