CFL star and B.C. Lions quarterback Nathan Rourke had a workout with the NFL’s New York Giants on Tuesday, a day after he had a workout for the Kansas City Chiefs, as Rourke continues to be a hot name in NFL circles, according to TSN.
Following the conclusion of the CFL season, Rourke has worked out for the Cincinnati Bengals, L.A. Chargers, Las Vegas Raiders, Jacksonville Jaguars, Minnesota Vikings, Denver Broncos, Indianapolis Colts, Tampa Bay Buccaneers and Arizona Cardinals and will workout for another undisclosed team on Wednesday.
Rourke still has a year left on his deal with the Lions, but on Monday he became eligible to sign a futures deal with a club within the National Football League per the league’s NFL window.
Rourke threw for 3,349 yards with 25 touchdowns and 10 interceptions despite being limited to 10 games last season for the Lions due a Lisfranc sprain in his right foot, leading the team to an 8-1 record prior to the injury and being named the league’s top Canadian.
