The Green Bay Packers have signed former Winnipeg Blue Bombers veteran defensive back Tyrell Ford, who was released by the Bombers in order to pursue an opportunity at the National Football League level, according to TSN.
Ford, 24, was drafted by the Blue Bombers with the 13th overall pick in the 2022 CFL Draft out of the University of Waterloo and has played four seasons in Winnipeg, collecting 94 total tackles, six sacks, 20 pass knockdowns, and six interceptions, including one returned for a touchdown.
Ford played 18 games for the former Grey Cup champions.
