Riot Games has issued bans for two female Valorant players from all competitions, including Game Changers, for up to nine months following comments made in the Galorants Discord equated teabagging to sexual assault, according to Dexerto.
The comments went viral, and moderators in the Discord failed to initially shut down the conversation which only spiraled the issues, and led to messages being shared across social media platforms.
Riot issued the following statement on their VALORANT website.
