T1 Takes Down Rival G2 Esports in MSI Knockout Stage

T1 completed one of the most dominant displays in league history by demolishing their European rivals G2 Esports during the 2022 MSI Knockout Stage, and did so by defeating a demon that had been a thorn in their sides for years.

Choi ‘Zeus’ Woo-je outplayed Sergen ‘BrokenBlade’ Celik and Lee ‘Gumayusi’ Min-hyeong played his best series of the tournament to help take home the victory in front of a home crowd of around 4,000.

G2 Esports will head home to pick up the pieces of what was a very disappointing performance throughout the even that saw them being exploited throughout the map.

T1 will now head to the final against Chinese champions RNG.
