100 Thieves put on a dominating performance on route to winning the VCT Americas Stage 1 by defeating G2 Esports in convincing fashion during their grand final and secured the fourth seed at Masters Shanghai in the process.
100 Thieves claimed the title for the first time since 2020 and did so without dropping a single series throughout the event.
“I could have felt like a fraud if I came here and played bad,” Kelden “Boostio” Pupello said following the event, according to Dexerto. ”Coming to all new players, and all of them are so incredible. Winning it is insane to me cause all my teammates lost. It just feels good, to be honest.”
100Thievers not only secured the 4th seed in the Masters Shanghai, but will also receiver three additional circuit points that will count towards their qualifications for Champions at the conclusion of the year.
