One Piece Breaks Record on Netflix

The live action series ‘One Piece’ arrived with incredible fanfare on the Netflix streaming platform and the hype helped the series break records on the platform that were previously held by ‘Stranger Things’ and ‘Wednesday’.

Based on the manga and anime of the same name, One Piece dropped Season 1 last week on Netflix and has since garnered positive reviews from both critics and audiences, and the viewership numbers reflect it.

One Piece has broken the record previously set by Season 1 of ‘Wednesday’ as well as Season 4 of the iconic series ‘Stranger Things’, both ranked #1 in 83 countries around the world during the first weekend of their respective release dates.
