OpenAI Announces Paid Subscription for ChatGPT

Popular AI content toll ChatGPT will be making a switch to a freemium model that offers a new paid tier to give users better access to the tool for $20 per month, according to an announcement from the company.

According to the company: “The new subscription plan, ChatGPT Plus, will be available for $20/month, and subscribers will receive a number of benefits:

• General access to ChatGPT, even during peak times
• Faster response times
• Priority access to new features and improvements”

While the interface will remain free to use, users may be subjected to delays at peak usage times and/or outages depending on circumstance.
