Royal Never Give Up has officially been crowned the 2022 Mid-Season Invitational champions following a month-long competition where they battled it our with some of the world’s best esports teams in Busan, Korea.
The event marked the first invitational in the 2022 League of Legends calendar and say 11 esports teams duke it out over the course of four weeks for a chance to be crowned champions. RNG took down hometown favorites T1 in the finale.

The team celebrated another championship, with jungler Yan ‘Wei’ Yang-wei claiming MVP honors for the series. Mid laner Li ‘Xiaohu’ Yuan-hao and support Shi ‘Ming’ Sen-ming are now the first two players in League history to hold three MSI titles, and are the only two esports players on the RNG roster to have been with the team for all three of their MSI championships.
