In a bit of short form video news, TikTok is adding video scrubbing capabilities for thumbnails which will make it easier for users to find the bit that they are looking for when perusing longer videos, according to social media consultant Matt Navarra.
The new feature works very similarly to how Youtube does where uses can access the feature by dragging the dot across the white bar that is located at the bottom of the screen. When doing should bring up an image preview for the part of the video you are hovering over.
As of this point, it is unclear when the feature will be rolled out for everyone, but it is one feature that will be warmly received.
