Tumblr Details New Live-Streaming Functionality

Tumblr is jumping into the live-streaming game with their new feature, via a partnership with The Meet Group, that will tout features such as those to combat toxicity, to help maintain strong moderation standards.

The partnership is aimed at pushing video engagement to bring in new users and potential advertisers, with a focus on video game sessions, book club discussions, and Dungeons & Dragons games, and more.

Tumblr Live, powered by Livebox, is available now available to users within the United States, and the company plans on a global rollout in the future.
