WWE Reaches Agreement with ABEMA On Japan Media Rights Partnership

WWE and ABMEA, a Japanese free ad-supported streaming television platform have officially agreed to a new media rights partnership that will see both RAW and SmackDown broadcast on free-to-air television in Japan each week with Japanese commentary.

The deal will officially kick off next week.

Additionally,  all WWE’s premium live events will air exclusively live on AMEBA and both RAW and Smackdown will be available on demand on Saturday nights while NXT will also be available on-demand via AMEBA Video.

Premium Live Events Including WrestleMania®, SummerSlam®And Fastlane® To Broadcast Live In Japan

STAMFORD, Conn., September 28, 2023 – WWE®, part of TKO Group Holdings (NYSE: TKO), and ABEMA have agreed to a new media rights partnership in Japan that will see WWE’s flagship programming broadcast exclusively on ABEMA platforms in Japan beginning October 2023.
